Belliston’s 6 month Jewelry Repair Warranty

This warranty covers cleanings, inspections, tightening any loose stones, replacing lost melee diamonds, polishing, and rhodium plating, and a guarantee that the repair that we made will hold up for at least 6 months, under normal wear and tear as determined by Belliston Jewelry.

Exceptions that may void your 6 month jewelry repair warranty: You did not follow our recommendations for additional repair work, or your jewelry was already thin and worn before Belliston Jewelry started repair work as determined by Belliston Jewelry. Belliston Jewelry will not pay for work done by any other entity or person – we must do the work. Belliston Jewelry defines melee as small gemstones under the size of 0.20ct. In most cases, side gemstones are considered melee. We will not warranty the center stone of any jewelry repair. However, we suggest you insure any jewelry that you can’t easily afford to replace.

Belliston’s Digital Vault

Belliston Jewelry can photograph and scan your most precious jewelry with a 3D scanner which makes it much easier to replicate your jewelry in the unfortunate case that you lose your precious jewelry down the road. In other words, we can create a digital copy of your jewelry to be stored in a digital vault - should you ever choose to replicate your jewelry. With Belliston’s Digital Vault, and a good insurance policy, you don’t have anything to worry about!

Warranties are not the same thing as insurance policies.

A good jewelry insurance policy will generally cover, loss, theft, or accidental damage. Warranties won’t cover any of those things. May we suggest that you insure any jewelry that you can’t easily afford to replace? We suggest that you compare a quote from Jewelers Mutual Insurance with a traditional home owners type of insurance.

We offer a wide range of in-house jewelry repair work. We cannot quote repairs online or over phone. All repairs must be quoted in store. Any of our helpful sales representatives will help you get your jewelry repair quoted and put into the system. No appointment needed.

PRONG RE-TIP & REBUILD

We recommend getting your prongs and ring checked at minimum once every six months. We also recommend re-tipping or rebuilding all prongs on the center stone at the same time so that all the prongs will wear at the same time and look even.

SOLDERING & UN-SOLDERING RINGS

Soldering your wedding band and engagement ring together can be very beneficial. Soldering makes your ring sturdier to enjoy for many years. Un-soldering your ring can be very risky. Many times once a ring is un-soldered it will also likely need to be re-shanked.

SIZING BUMPS

Sizing bumps are a great, affordable solution to spinning rings. Many times, the knuckle is larger than where the ring sits. Because of this, rings are sized to fit over the knuckle. With the finger being smaller and rings being top heavy, rings spin and don't stay in place. Sizing bumps allow the ring to fit over the knuckle but give the ring support to help it spin less.
